When the Lord took you mom, dad did the best he could To make life easier, as two parents would. He missed you very much, loved you with all his heart But he showered me with love, trying to do your part. Now he is in Heaven, no more worries and pain free Together you can walk hand in hand for eternity. And with every part of me I want you both to know That I miss you very much and I love you so. God gave me the best parents that any girl could have had And I will always be grateful that I had you and my dad. And when my work here on earth is through Meet me at Heaven's gate and I can walk with you. Dianne |
