Two years ago we left behind all the one's we love
We walked together through the gates in Heaven up above.
We love each other like brothers and it's still that way
It was only fitting that we left together on that day.
We know our families miss us and they are so blue
If only we could let them know we're together, me and you.
If we could only tell them, that Heaven is sublime
Maybe it would heal the hurt for just a little time.
As best friends we'll always be together for eternity
Walking the grounds of Heaven, my best friend and me.
And one day they will join us, in Heaven up above

To our dear families, please look up to the sky
The lights that you see twinkling will be us saying "Hi".
We will send you kisses on the wind each and every night
And it will be us when you see the eagles taking flight.

Best friends forever, enjoying every day.
